Senior Account Executive

I’m Deb Laiskonis, I’m the Senior Account Executive at Synergy Media. Yep, that means I’m old and I’ve been selling radio for nearly 25 years.  I started my radio sales career in 1994. I began selling WKLA AM, WKLA FM, and WKZC for Chickering and Associates, later the company was purchased by Lake Michigan Broadcasting and in 2012 it became part of Synergy Media.  Since the merger, I now sell all Synergy Media stations, including WWKR  and WLDN.  I have had the opportunity to work with so many great clients and watch their business and client base grow.  I plan to continue in my career, Im now working with third generation business owners.

Some personal stuff about me:  I’ve lived in the Custer/ Scottville area since I moved here as a child with my (older) parents who wanted to escape the hustle of the Detroit area.  I went to school and college in the area, took some extensive Marketing program and Optical programs and more.   I got married and choose to stay in the area. I’ve worked in retail management,  optical management, banquet and hotel sales and independent marketing.Throughout the years, along with being employed… I have been involved in several organizations, served on so many committees for several different projects in the Mason county area.  I’m trying to down size my volunteer work  and enjoy my personal life more.  My husband of 38 years passed away 7 years ago.  I am blessed to have so many friends and wonderful clients.  I live in the country on 15 acres, enjoy my dog and cat, love gardening and being outdoors, travel and the arts.
